A little POP of color...

Hello Blogger friends!

I just finished a post about the four card sets that I made for a charity auction, and I wanted to make sure that I created a post for each set so that they could be seen individually and in all their glory...

I just adore the first set...

When I started making this set, the only thing I knew is that I wanted to use a stamp set that I hadn't used before...

I'm sure there are are many of you out there like me...stamp hoarders enthusiasts who see that set that you just HAVE to have, and then get it home and have the slightest clue on what you'd intended on doing with it. (Ok, I may be the only one)

Anyway, when I saw this set in my local craft store, I knew I needed it!

To make a long story short, this was what I came up with.

I really love the gray with each color...

(Lucky me! This color combo works great for this CR84FN Challenge too! Don't you love when that happens?)

This is the only set with orange in it because the green (that's the 5th color in the other sets) wouldn't have worked because the flourishes are green :-)

If you have any questions about this set, please comment below...Love them? Like them? Hate them? Let me know! I welcome all feedback.

Thanks so much for stopping by, have a wonderful day!

  1. Very nice project. Love that it's minimal and powerful. Love this stamp set. I would think that I have to have it if I would see it in my local craft store.

  2. Oh what a pretty set of cards! Love all the color combos! Thanks for joining along with CR84FN :)

  3. Beautiful stamping with these pretty colours, a fab design!

  4. Simi, these are so PRETTY! LOVE the watermark stamped background along with the pretty colors! THX for playing with us at CR84FN!

  5. Gorgeous cards! i loe them all. All together they look the best ; like a rainbow. I love how you used the same stamp for the backround and the simplicity of the whole card.

  6. I adore this set of cards - the image is just beautiful - in all the colourways! Thanks for playing along with CR84FN!

And I know just what you mean about the "must have" sets :)
